Investing in US stocks is up, according to data released on Friday by S&P 500.
The S&p 600 index of stocks climbed by 7.6%, while the Russell 2000 climbed by 4.7%.
The Nasdaq Composite Index of companies surged by 9.4%.
The Russell 2000 index of companies also rose by 6.5%.
Trump has said that he is in favor of lowering taxes for corporations and high-income earners.
The Republican Party platform would also lower taxes on individuals and wealthy investors, as well as on corporations, and boost tax credits for the poor and middle class.
Trump also has said he would support a “global tax cut” to offset the cost of a tax cut for corporations.
Trump’s tax proposals have caused a furor in Congress, with Republicans and Democrats alike expressing concern that the president would benefit from the tax cuts.
